I can’t imagine having to make the decision to give your child’s organs away. A lump forms in my throat at the thought.
But somewhere in Utah, someone made that choice.
This is the outcome:
This is a wonderful story of everything we talk about. Grieving strangers save a child’s life. Parents listened to their hearts and grasped the risk of transplant for their child.
Just a little story to brighten your day.

I had to make that very decision 23 years ago. My beautiful 6 year old girl. Gone. But she does live on in the others that she helped I never knew. I never met them. But Katie lives….
And I have never regretted the decision I made to donate her organs.
